2. Remove boxes and extra packaging

Shoe boxes are mostly air. Ask the warehouse to discard them (keep them only for collectible pairs) and watch the volumetric weight drop.

3. Never trust the label weight

The seller's stated weight is optimistic. The warehouse weighs and measures for real before you pay shipping — decide on the line after you see the real numbers.

4. Economy beats express for hauls

Express makes sense for one urgent pair. For a 5 kg haul, economy can save you over 100 € for a few extra days of waiting.
